How to Unstake from OPUS Pool

To unstake from OPUS Pool, go to the Unstake Section under the ‘Staking’ tab in the menu on the left navigation bar.

Next, enter the amount of ETH you would like to unstake and hit the 'Unstake' button.

Note: If you minted osETH at any point any time against your staked position, you will have to burn that amount to unstake all your ETH.

If this applies for you, please skip down to the section:

  • Unstake from Eigenlayer or Symbiotic

You will be prompted to sign the unstaking transaction in your wallet. Once you have done so, you will have successfully unstaked your position.

Once you unstake your ETH, it enters the withdrawal queue. You will see a progress bar right below the success message that lets you know the status of your withdrawable stake.

  • Generally, ETH should complete unstaking after a maximum of 8 days, however, it can sometimes be much sooner depending on the amount unstaked and network conditions.

Once it becomes ready for withdrawal you will see a button to claim the stake back into your wallet.

You can come back to the Unstake tab at a later point and check the status of your withdrawal.

How Long Does it Take to Unstake My ETH?

Unstaking your Ethereum from OPUS Pool will vary on a few factors, however, it can range from 24 hours to a maximum of 8 days.

Some factors that may affect the unstaking time include how much ETH you are unstaking, how much is liquid in the pool, and network conditions.

  • However, to ensure all customers receive their ETH in a timely manner, Chorus One manually checks all ETH withdrawals in the validator queue every Monday.

  • If any withdrawals have reached 7 days, Chorus One will supply more ETH to OPUS Pool to facilitate a faster withdrawal of your ETH.

    • This means you can rest assured that your ETH withdrawal will complete after a maximum of 8 days.

Unstake from Eigenlayer or Symbiotic

To unstake your assets from Eigenlayer or Symbiotic go to the 'Unstake' section under the 'Restaking Tab'

  • You will be able to unstake from the EigenLayer interface directly.

  • In the screenshot above we can see that 0.0090 stETH is restaked via EigenLayer.

To proceed, click on the 'Unstake' button and sign the transaction in your wallet.

You have successfully unstaked!

How Long Does it Take to Unstake from EigenLayer or Symbiotic?

Unstaking from EigenLayer takes 7 days for the funds to finalize while unstaking from Symbiotic takes 14 days.

  • You can check the progress of your unstaking transactions by going to OPUS Pool dashboard.
